Your Workplace

At Folktandvården Norrstrand, we work with the schedule 7-19, alternating between morning and afternoon shifts.

We are 30 employees who take care of and treat approximately 9500 patients, both adults and children. The atmosphere among us is good, and we care about each other.

At the clinic, there is a nice mix of new and experienced colleagues interested in various areas, and we also have microscopes and nitrous oxide equipment on site.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks will include all tasks within the dental hygienist profession. This means that as a dental hygienist, you will treat your own patients in both pediatric and adult dental care with examinations, disease treatment measures, and preventive dental care. You will work in a team with dentists and dental nurses. Team dentistry includes, for example, joint examinations, scanning, filling therapy, and there are also good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities.

If you are at the beginning of your career, you will receive good support from your new colleagues. In addition, we provide you with a great start to your new career as you will participate in Folktandvården's comprehensive introduction program that combines theory with practical work.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed dental hygienist.

As a person, you should be able to work independently. You should also have good collaboration skills with your colleagues to maintain good quality and atmosphere. Through your service-oriented ability, you take good care of the patients you meet.

About Us

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. In addition, there are clinics in all specialist areas that treat patients on referral. We are a forward-looking organization with quality and competence in focus.
